At about age 6, before the first milk tooth is lost, the first permanent molars break through behind the milk molars. From age 6 onwards, children are able to clean outer and masticatory dental surfaces, and are ready to learn how to brush the inner surfaces, too.
From age three, children have normally acquired a complete set of milk teeth, underneath which the permanent teeth start to develop in the upper and lower jaws.
The meridol toothbrush has conical filaments with microfine filament ends to protect the gums whilst at the same time thoroughly cleaning all the teeth, especially at the gum margins.
