Active Substances
Amine fluorides, also referred to as organic fluorides, were developed by GABA as an efficient means of caries prevention in cooperation with the Institute of Dentistry of the University of Zurich (Switzerland) in the 1950s. They are used in all elmex products.
The amine fluoride/stannous fluoride combination created to promote the natural regeneration of irritated gums was developed by GABA in the 1980s. The combination is used in all meridol products.
